When I first started DJ-ing, I was a turntablist—a scratch DJ. One day my dad caught me with his Richard Pryor record, grounded me, and told me to never touch his records again. That was the beginning of my career. // Doing music with your sister* is definitely humbling. When she gets her little diva on, I can be like, "You need to shut up because I've known you for my entire life." And vice versa. // I used to breed reptiles. You'd open my room, and it was 98 degrees at 100 percent humidity. It smelled like a zoo. But at 18, I decided I wanted to have a girlfriend, so it wasn't really conducive to dating. // I learned how to dress myself recently.** I swear I don't watch Tyra Banks religiously, but I caught this episode with something called "high-low shopping," where your shirt costs $5, but your pants cost $500. I've been following that. // I love bangs on girls. I really don't like foreheads.
